Lane Bryant Spring Lingerie Show, Emcee Roseanne Barr_Feb 6, 2003 : Lane Bryant, the fashion house for what the industry considers plus-size gals had its spring lingerie show Tuesday night.
The rocker STEVE TYLER embraced his daughter MIA, a Lane Bryant model, backstage. ROSEANNE BARR, the mistress of ceremonies, was carried to the stage in the arms of two muscular men in skintight white briefs. STAR JONES, the zaftig hostess of ''The View,'' sitting runway-side with a few pals wore a $34.98 Lane Bryant denim jacket tricked up by DENNIS BASSO with golden sable and sheared mink.
The Kodak moment came as the model ANTA sashayed down the aisle in a corset and a black thong. Hitting the end of the runway near the photo mob, Anta did a half turn, showed her stuff, and the crowd roared. Another memorable moment: KELLY OSBOURNE, backed up by her band, singing ''Papa Don't Preach'' sang off-key in happy oblivion.
